Free Nintendo DS Update

Back in November I wrote about getting a free Nintendo DS by completing some offers. Today, in the mail, I got a check for $149.99 (the retail price of a new DS) in lieu of an actual unit. So other than that now I have to go to the store and buy it (and pay sales tax to the man), everything turned out sweet.

Cool. Completing the offers actually worked.
Couldn't you deposit the check and order the DS online to avoid paying tax.

Yes I did. I got the system and WarioWare Touched. I am going post some pics down the line, and my impressions on the system/game.
