Blogging September
After a 2 month hiatus I plan on resuming writing entries to the main section of my blog. I haven't been completely M.I.A. these past months, I have been contributing quite regularly to my "
Notable URLs" over on the left hand side of your screen (also in
RSS for easy consumption). I have also been posting photos to my
Flickr account via my T-Mobile Sidekick II quite often too.
Why the return? The real question is
"why the departure?" No good reason I guess. Work has been crazy busy. I went to California for three weeks. In my limited spare time I have been playing a lot more
Counter Strike: Source, and even helping put some
new features on
MetaFilter.
September isn't really going to be any less busy. Work is still keeping me busy. This weekend my family is taking a little trip to Utah while my wife runs the
Top of Utah Half Marathon. The weekend after that we are going camping with
Mike and his family on Mt. Hood in Oregon. I still plan on playing CS:S, and I just bought
Meteos for the Nintendo DS. Oh yea, and my son is about to start soccer!
But I still plan on posting each day. I've already decided that I am taking weekends off (with my trips I'd high too (I don't expect WiFi in the mountains)) - so unless I really have nothing to say, I should have 24 entries posted in September, making it (I think) my highest volume month ever. Which might seem extreme, but maybe having an extreme month as a challenge cause me to level out to a more consistent regular posting schedule in the months following. We'll see.
