Audit of Christmas 2003

I must note that I have left off some items that were gifts to my family, or to my wife and I together. I must also note that while it wasn't labeled a "gift", one of my Aunt's lent us a car while we were visiting in So Cal, and we were able to save over $200 by turning in a car we had previously rented. That was awesome. Thanks. Also, I got to see my sister who is doing great and has lost about 80 lbs., this was what I remarked as being the highest of my Christmas.
One thing I haven't done in past years was comment on items that I have given at Christmas time. Here are just a few notable items that I gave to my wife, or that we gave to some of our family:

Where the Sidewalk Ends*
A Light in the Attic*
Bulls-Eye Ball Platinum Desktop Arcade Game
Finding Nemo DVD
Norah Jones - Come Away with Me
Nerf Atom Blasters Reactor
Lava Lamp

*I gave the 20th anniversary editions of these books, they included audio CD's with Shel Silverstein reading his poems.

Note: This entry was past dated to be included in the December 2003 entries.

My 1st Mirror Project entry

With my growing contempt for the general act of web browsing... I have decided to contribute to the Mirror Project. Now... the Mirror Project is something I have looked at sporadically for a couple years now, and I have always had the intention to submit photos to. But for some reason I never have. Infact, I have even taken photos with this exact thought in my head, "this is going on the mirror project". But alas I never have contributed; until now of course. I will post an update and link when it gets accepted. Update: 12/19 12:08 PM Photo accepted

The WWW is a boring place to live...

Aside from Shopping, reading Slashdot, Fark, and a selection of personal and tech related blogs... browsing the web has become very boring and mundane for me. Almost a nuisance.
When I get really bored, I will run a google image search on some random term. The term "punch" pulled up some gems, take a look...
