Doing some general browsing and I found the LOTR story told in 1000 words on a site dedicated to J. R. R. Tolkien. I've been wondering lately how I can tell the story to my son as a bedtime story... and this is a pretty good start. It's a pretty dry matter-of-fact read, but good none the less. It's also a good way to see how the books split up the story versus how the movie split it up.

Cnet has this article called When games stop being fun. It's all about how people can become addicted to PC or Console Video games, and how it can cause you to lose your job, fail in school, or destroy your marriage. The article is pretty good... and sometimes funny... I like the following excerpt:

Every couple hundred years or so a great Flash game is made. This is one of them. The object is to fling a pile of poo and try and hit the fan. You get scored for hangtime and distance, and bonus points for hitting an iMac and other stuff like that.
